2006 Blogathon: 29 Jul 2006

Hooah … the 2006 Blogathon will happen on 29 Jul 2006. I plan to participate [and I just cancelled my other, tentative plans for that weekend to do so ... which sucks].

I will support either Blood:Water Mission [as I did last year] or will move on to the Dalit Freedom Network. My goal this year is $1,000.00 in donations to charity through my campaign. That’s a little less than double last year.

As soon as signups are available, I’ll kick off my campaign and let y’all know about it.

Now that I have steady income, I’d be more than glad to sponsor you on this one. You have more guts (and more useless jabbering) than I do. ;)

Darnit. If it were a couple of days earlier I actually might have been able to participate. I’ll probably be travelling back from Portland on the 29th. Shucks. And I was thinking of possibly tying it in with OSCON (which is why I’ll be in Portland), possibly interviewing some people there.

Best of luck in advance… I’m actually thinking (if you can call it that, and not some other word for “I must be out of my bloody mind to even consider it”) of trying it myself this year for the first time.

Hey there, glad to know that you’ll be joining the blogathon. Good luck.

    Blood:Water Mission

I’ve decided that I’ll do another campaign for Blood:Water Mission for the 2006 Blogathon.
