Random Braindumping

  • I got my Flickr-based business cards from MOO in the mail today. I cannot wait to start handing them out. They’re so tiny and awesome and spastic. If I weren’t too tired to see straight—or even parse the previous dependent clause, because damn, that doesn’t sound right to me right now—I’d drive to one of my friends’ houses just to show them off. They’re spifftacular.
  • Yesterday, before I left for Atlanta, I had to go visit my friends in the proposal center at work. One of the folks in there punched the magnetic on the lock on the door, pushed open the door, smiled at me, and then said, “Welcome back to Heyull.” I laughed.

  • If you need any insight as to how messed up I am, the reason that I chose the above is because I’d only have to take three days off of work that week, since I get Thanksgiving and Black Friday off already.
  • Yeah, I think that I have issues, too. Better yet, I know that I have issues.
  • Bullets are fun. They beat the hell out of one-sentence paragraphs … BILL SIMMONS.

  • By the way, I really started to miss Mike during the second period of last night’s game. Why? For years now, I’ve always had Mike around when watching a live hockey game at some point—pre-game, during the action, or post-game. We hash and re-hash and confirm what we thought we saw with each other. Mike, this is what I meant to say today when I IM’d you, but didn’t. I miss you, you ugly bastard.
  • I’m really tempted to break my no-midweek-TV thing tonight, because I’m just too fried to do anything else. I’m trying to rationalize to myself that it’ll just be this one time. Hey, say, why does this slope look sli—

Don’t worry, Geof. We’ll always have IM.

Plus, there’s the outside chance that this Cincinnati thing may only be a two-year appointment. :)

And the tournament, provided that we can both get time off of work. :D
And … yes, there is that, too. Then you can start … The Streak. ;)
